The Original Goal was to have this done before the beginning of the year and triumphantly post January First this thing that was going to be awesome and epic.
The more I listen, the more I tinker, the more I realize there's just not going to be an acceptable version of this song. I am damned to keep messing with it forever.
The title reflects how I feel about it. It started out with a more optimistic and cheesier name. I want to say in February it was "Chasing the Feeling", in May and June it became a still-optimistic but more direct "In search of Perfection" and then it all comes down to the current feeling of discontent. I imagine once I complete this song in full, it will be one of my defining pieces but right now I am just glad to be rid of it in one form or another.
