Alright, time to learn how to count.
Kick drum signifies the beginning of a new measure. Starts in 4/4, with a snare on the three. From there it goes to 5/8, 3/8 and beyond.
Don't worry, real school hasn't started yet, but when it does I'll school you for 12 years.
(Joking aside, this track is in 4/4 and stays that way. There's about 3 exceptions to give it more flavor but my approach to music is that at the end of the day, everything translates into common time. No amount of shenanigans can change the fact that, so the best that I can do is try to hide it or disguise it.)
