Bootz vs Mobius
Ch.0 The set up
It was another day in the post apocolyptic land of Suibom, another dimension within the sonic universe. Between the regular dimension of Mobius and the dimension of Moebius, there's Suibom, the slightly genderbended version of Moebius ... and then some. But rather than get into the statistics of said dimension lets get to the story, cause getting into those would take quite a bit of explaining. Getting to the point, our story takes place 30 to 35 years into the future where we find the hero of this little tale. A calico feline resting along a tree with a steampunkish sense of style wearing a white dress shirt, a cast on his right forearm, black vest, and pants with the bellbottoms tucked into his boots. The feline purring as he rests lazilly along the tree, blissfully ignoring the loud noises which turned out to be calls out to said feline.
"Kid! Where are ya?"
A random voice would call out, our hero resting blissfuly as he ignores the calls smiling to himself with a soft snicker.
"C'mon ya bastard, Tornado's askin' for ya and I'm sure as hell NOT gonna be one of his guinea pigs again. I'm still hurling from last time," the voice called out as our hero snickers to himself, lounging a bit more as he takes his cat nap. Then a white colored feline finds him resting with the calico unaware, the new feline tapping his foot looking at said lazy feline.
"Alrighty then ... that's how ya wanna play it ..." the white feline says as he grabs a random stone and pelts it toward the sleepy feline, the stone hitting him on the fourhead causing the struck calico to wake up.
"Gah! The hell man?!" the calico growls out, rubbing his temple with a slight hiss. "Ya could've just shaken me to wake up or somethin..'
"And what would be the fun in said action hmm, dear brother?" the white feline then comments with a smile. "'Sides I called ya almost 10 times to try and get a hold of ya, Tornado's got a new toy he wants to test out."
"And with that I'm goin' back to sleep," the calico says as he tries to rest back onto the tree, the feline soon getting pelt with another stone. "Gah! The fuck bro?!"
"I would probably try and do the same thing, only downside is I already said that you'd be available and I'm still recovering from last time sooo ... your up lil bro," the white feline said with a grin that almost seemed evil as his younger brother narrowed his eyes at him.
"Your a dick ..." the calico plainly said, getting up with a slight growl.
"Love you too, house cat," the white feline retaliated as he offered his hand to his brother, the younger feline grabbing the hand and getting to his feet.
"Soo ... just what the hell does Tornado have up his sleeveless shirt this time? And where the he-" before he could even ask his question a loud boom would be heard, an explosion coming from the building away from where the two felines were standing. " ... Well that answers where he is ... what about the what?"
"Sorry bro, I promissed I wouldn't spoil the surprise. That and I have no idea what it is either," the white feline responds with a slight shrug, his younger brother sighing and shaking his head.
The calico feline just shook his head as he walked ahead, his brother following with the same evil-like grin as they made their way to Tornado's lab. Tornado being they're local mechanic, a ferret the two have known for some time since they were younger, but that's a story for another time. Getting back to the two felines, we soon find them entering a shack of sorts, smoke coming out as said ferret would stumble out. A black colored ferret with green markings, blue shorts, and a green bandana and goggles covering his eyes as he coughs slightly.
"Eureka!" the ferret says, making a pose as if he had made a discovery. "It works! It actually works!"
"What works?" Both felines ask in unison as they look toward the ferret, the ferret looking back to then with a wide smile.
"I'll tell ya after I wake up ... " the ferret soon says after falling flat on his face, the now unconcious ferret's tail twitching as the felines watch him before the calico feline sighs heavilly.
"Well that's just swell ... " the calico growls out as he just walks inside, his hands in his pocket as his older brother just watches before kneeling down, poking the fallen ferret. All the while we find our calico feline looking around in the shack as he observes the ferret's inventions as well as his trinkets. "Hmm ... wonder what he does when he AIN'T inventing ... " he comments aloud before coming across a random teleport ring. "Hello beautiful ... " he then comments picking it up and tossing it up, catching it with a smirk before his brother walks in behind him.
"What caught yer eye?" his brother commented imedeately, raising an eyebrow as if he had already known that he picked up a random object which wasn't too far from the truth. "Eh ... ? Is that a zone warp ring?"
"I think so, I used one of these before," the calico comments flipping it in front of him, a portal opening in front of him, warping sounds being made. "Hee, sweet. I'll be right back, Imma visit some people."
"Wait what if that thing ain't stable?" the white feline warns him, grabbing his brother's arm before he went through it. "And besides, just who the hell are you gonna visit in Mobius anyway?"
The calico feline only gave a smirk as he pulled his brother's hand away. "People, I'll be back before noon. Anythin' turns up I'll give ya a call via cell," he then said to his older brother before jumping through the portal before it closes behind him leaving his older brother tapping his foot waitng for Tornado to wake up.
"I awaken!" A familiar voice called out as he walked proudly into his shack, dusting himself off a bit. "Now then, where did I put it ... ahah!" he yells out, then pulling out a small canister looking object out from the rubble. "Indestructable too, I really out did myself."
The white feline only tilting his head as he observed his excited friend, soon walking over and tapping his shoulder. "What is it?"
"This, my fine feline friend, be a new weapon for your brother, a small canon of sorts or an extra boost to get out of sticky situations. Depending on how he uses it, of course." the ferret explains proudly, looking around for the calico soon after. "Umm ... where is he anyway?"
"Oh yeah, he went over to Mobius with that new ring he invented. Didn't know you were makin' those." the white feline commented before noticing a frightened pale look on the ferret's face, the feline raising an eyebrow. "Ummm...everything ok?"
" ... You're not telling me that he took the ring over on that desk I was experimenting with are you?" the ferret then responded with a nervous look as he looked to the white feline.
" ... Umm ... there was somethin' wrong with that ring wasn't there?" the white feline then commented as he looked to the ferret, raising an eyebrow as he looked to Tornado.
"Oh nothing was wrong with it. Just that it hasn't been tested yet and the last time I tested it it had a small glitch ... " Tornado started out as he chuckles nervously. "One of them being a time setting ... "
"Come again..?" the white feline then asked as his eyes widdened.
"Well ... ya see ... I had a crazy idea that I could make a ring that could ... go back in time to certain dimensions ... like a multi-purpose time warp zone hopping ring ...god I gotta work on the name ... " the ferret comments with a shrug. "But anyway ... it hasn't been tested ... "
The feline just stared at the ferret for a moment, blinking before starting off a sentence " .... You mean to tell me he picked up a god damn untested warp ring ... that travels through time ... "
"Yeah ... and there's somethin else I just remembered as to why I didn't test it ... " the nervous ferret then remembered as he looked at the feline, his ears drooping.
"What? It's a one way deal or something? Like Terminator?" the white feline commented with a slight smirk, the smirk disappearing as he saw the ferret's eyes move from side to side.
" ..... If i were to say yes ... would that refrain you from NOT strangling me ... ?" the ferret then asks before the white feline lunges at him, growling as he grabs him by his vest.
"You mean to tell me that my little brother is sent back in time with no way of return and no way of knowing weither he's alive or not?!" Dek then growled out, looking to the ferret eye to eye as if he could kill him at any minute.
"That would be the blunt overstatement yes ... but I did put one thing into the ring ... I installed a small web cam within the ring so we'll know exactly what's goin' on with him." the ferret then explains as he pulls out a random remote. " ... Of course we'd have to know if he made it to safe ground alive."
"What?! You mean he's airborn right now?!" Dek says dropping the ferret, the feline growling not knowing how to react to the situation.
"Well I could be wrong ... maybe he'll land in a spot of flowers ... " the ferret then says with an uncomfortable smile.
"Good god ... you have any idea how retarded that sounds?" Dek says facepalming, looking to where he saw his brother walk through the zone ring. " ... Lets just hope ... for your sake ... that he's outa harms way ... at least for now ... " he finishes as he grabs a random chair, sitting in it as he watches Tornado fidgeting around with said controller.
How is our calico feline protagonist doing you may ask? Well, you'll have to wait till next chapter cause this dear readers, is only the start of his ventures in Mobious, for little does he himself know of the troubles he'll soon get into once he sets foot within the world that is Mobius.
