Character Description
Background/History
Ever since birth Enk and Ruy have been rivals and, even after they each took up the discipline of martial arts, they were rivals in that too, as each of their rival schools of Karate promoted them to studying under the Aoken (Blue Arm) style Karate master known as Goat. Now more encouraged than ever to beat the other at something they are good at, they trained harder and harder and achieved a level of ability in the Aoken style of Karate unmatched by anyone but their own master. However despite their achievements, each felt inferior against the other with Enk learning to mix weaker techniques and Ruy learning to perform stronger techniques in sequence. Each wanted what the other had and improved their own talents to overpower their rivals skills, but as two sides of the same coin neither was better than the other and neither could win as neither was weak enough to lose.
Both decided to travel the world to learn new techniques from other fighters but on their travels they learned of a powerful Neo-Ned known as Gabe, the Ned being a former communist dictatorship that once threatened the world. Gabe was not just powerful in that he controlled many people and lots of land but also in that he was a powerful mystic with extraordinary psychic powers. With the power of his mind controlled slaves known as the Rowcage he intended to take over the world, but when he took control of Ruy's mind it drove Enk mad with rage. Enk battled Ruy and in the fray Ruy remembered them sparring and came to his senses. Together Enk and Ruy fought Gabe and with the power of a double Aoken palm strike Gabe was defeated and fell from the clifftops to his supposed death.
Jask, the former student and long-term rival of Goat, engaged him in combat to prove that Jask's Aokage (Blue Shadow) style was greater than Goat's Aoken style. Jask was defeated but he swore revenge in the form of the destruction of Goat's childhood home The Skytray. Gathering an army of creatures from The Underworld he waged war on the Skytray but they were defeated by Enk and Ruy. Entrusting the task of detonating the explosives to destroy the Skytray to his new underling Stan, Jask was blown up by mistake and died.
Jask was reincarnated by Gabe and his followers who intended him to help their Neo-Ned scheme but Jask defeated Gabe and moved on with his own plans. Jask built multiple tomes to ensure his immortality and attempted to take Goat's life, but when Stan destroyed the tomes whilst trying to help Jask, Jask was killed in combat by Enk and Ruy.
Jask's followers the Kagemodo (Shadow Forms) succeeded in killing Goat and planned to amass an army to conquer the world, though they were defeated via an unknown source. In the meantime Stan became the wielder of the Akkage (Evil Shadow) energy, and Enk and Ruy had to use Kenshin (Arm Halting) energy to stop him.
After a new threat known as The Lilith brought back all the enemies that Enk and Ruy had killed or defeated and united them for the sole cause of world domination, the pair needed to unite all their old friends to defeat the threat. Working together they saved the day in a giant battle royale.
Enk and Ruy continued to save the world from multiple threats and still do today.
