Character Description
Background/History
The evil Jask was accidentally killed by Stan who was trying to help him when Stan was attempting to destroy the Skytray which both of them were standing on at the time. Stan survived the explosion but Jask needed to be resurrected.
To ensure that he wasn't destroyed a second time, Jask built several tomes to ensure his immortality while he fought his enemies. Mistaking the tomes as mind-controlling devices built by Jask's rival Goat, Stan went on a quest to destroy them all, unwittingly reducing Jask's immortality in the process. Stan's travels took him to the Underworld where he found a tome with a yin-yang on it. The tome scanned Stan and created Hit as an evil version of Stan hellbent on trying to protect the tome Stan was trying to destroy. After Hit defeated Stan he was attacked by Kat, Stan's friend, who Hit also defeated. However Kat called her friend Bed into the fray who fought Hit and defeated him. As Bed was about to destroy Hit, Stan who couldn't bare to see Hit be destroyed, wrongly seeing some form of kinship in the creature, grabbed Hit and dragged him off a ledge to save his life. After Kat destroyed the tome Hit was meant to protect, Hit became depressed and proceeded to follow Stan around being a general downer and getting in his way. However after being fed some magical Dim Sum with the group, Hit perked up and decided to devote his life to helping Stan. Seeing Enk and Ruy fighting Jask, who Hit had learned from Stan to be a good guy, Hit rushed to Jask's aid and was badly injured in the fray, passing out from the pain. Seeing Jask defeated and assuming Hit dead, Stan became enraged but was unable to fight Enk and Ruy due to a trap set on the last tome that locked Stan in a crystal.
After Stan was released by Kat and Hit got some much needed medical attention, Hit abandoned the group and went his own way, despite Stan's insistence that Hit join him in finding Jask's rival Goat. However Hit was attacked by a group calling themselves the Kagemodo (Shadow Forms) who wanted him to join them. Hit fought them all off and continued his travels barely harmed at all. Later Hit heard that Stan had gone crazy and attacked the other members of their group. Attempting to reason with Stan, Hit was defeated in battle but Stan was too distracted with fighting Enk and Ruy to finish him off.
After being defeated by Enk and Ruy, Stan proceeded to pester them about the special technique they used to defeat him. Stan later achieved enlightenment via entirely different means and Hit proceeded to study Stan's teachings in order to find meaning in his life. Stan later abandoned the religious cult he had founded whilst being enlightened, however Hit took up the position of high priest and continued to follow Stan's old teachings, despite Stan having abandoned them.
Hit currently takes part in saving the world when his job permits him spare time.
