Background/History
Stan was a popular celebrity martial artist who was adored by his fans, despite the fact that all the skills he had were greatly exaggerated. After escaping a horde of savage fan girls he came across Enk and Ruy who were fighting in the street nearby. Amazed by their fighting style, he instantly became a fan of the pair himself and chasing them away mid fight by trying to get their autograph, he found himself lost in the middle of rural China and was unable to appear in his next movie, being replaced by the stunt actor Drake. Drake being a better martial artist, he went on to be more popular a celebrity than Stan and appeared in his own big budget movies that got a lot more limelight than Stan's low budget productions.
Stan realized he would need something big to beat Drake and decided to hunt down Enk and Ruy to discover the secret to their skills. Overhearing a conversation between the two of them, he discovered that their style was known as Aoken (Blue Arm). On trying to find the master who taught them the style, he came across Jask and discovered that they were a master of Aokage (Blue Shadow) style, the rival style of Aoken. Mistaking Aokage for Aoken, he promised to serve Jask in exchange for his teachings. Jask pretended to be a good guy to humor Stan and get use out of him. Trying to destroy the people of the Skytray he became friends with Kat from the Underworld and convinced her to join his cause. However Stan accidentally blew up his master in an explosion that destroyed part of the Skytray, freeing Kat's people in the process.
Somehow miraculously surviving the explosion, Stan, having nothing to do now, went on a journey to discover himself and adapted the Aokage style into his own custom form Keigulou AKA Shadowlight. Later meeting Jask, now resurrected from the grave, he discovered that he was evil, though he wrongly believed it was a product of the resurrection process and went on a quest to free Jask's soul from torment. Jask had created several tomes to ensure his immortality and asked Stan to keep them safe. Stan mistook the Jask's tomes as being a tool by Jask's enemy Goat, designed to play with Jask's mind and turn people against him. After Stan destroyed the tomes, Jask was defeated by Enk and Ruy which enraged Stan. However Stan had accidentally got himself stuck in a trap Jask had left to stop people destroying the tomes and was unable to get revenge.
Seeking out Goat to put an end to his meddling, Stan was defeated by Drake, the rival he had forgotten about. After saying that Drake and the martial arts fandom didn't matter, Drake attempted to end Stan's life but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't do it. Being nursed back to health by Enk and Ruy, Stan later learned that Goat was dead and, infuriated that he couldn't seek his revenge, returned to the movie industry. After being challenged by Drake, Stan unlocked a darker side to his nature and became the wielder of the Akkage (Evil Shadow) energy. Totally out of control it took both Enk and Ruy to stop him using Kenshin (Arm Halting) energy.
Imbued by positive energy, Stan realized the folly of his actions and attempted kill himself by jumping off a cliff. However he got his belt caught on a branch and suddenly reconsidered his actions climbing to safety. Discovering Enk and Ruy had gone he set about trying to learn the Kenshin technique from them and pestered them constantly while they were trying to destroy various threats to the world. After picking his nose one day Stan saw some philosophical value in it and founded a nose picking religious cult. Ascending to a godlike state he discovered the true form of Aoken style and stole Enk's and Ruy's victory from them when fighting the newly resurrected Jask. Having committed a selfish act he lost his enlightenment and entered a deep depression until his old friend Kat brought him out of it.
Now he likes to chip in on saving the world with Enk and Ruy though he's more of a hindrance than a help.
