Ah this was a fun one. Nice shot of all the characters at the cafeteria table. I was too lazy to draw everyone's food on this page. But it's on the next page.

Sorry for some of the wacky speech bubble/text formatting. I used to draw the scene first, then fit the text where I can, and finally draw the bubble around the text. Of course that was all in pencil and it looked fine until I tried to type it in.

Dave's tail wag says it all. That was my same expression when I found out I could sell books back. Even better when your roommate is so stupid that you can sell HIS books out from under him XD

"Chowdah!"   As a Rhode Island skunk, I wholeheartedly approve. Love the comic! :3

Too late now but, Ian should have told them that they could buy used text books at a significant savings.  Maybe next semester.  BTW, doesn't the Empire of California not have seafood or is crab cakes an east coast thing?

Chucky is from a small mountain town, he's a bit sheltered. And I think my first time having crab cakes was when I moved to New Hamshire in summer 2000. I thought it would be a fun little thing to work into Chucky's naivete.

It's definitely cute.  It kind of reminds me of that line from the "Addams Family" movie where Wednesday asked the girl scout if girl scout cookies were made from real girl scouts.

Ha ha, that was a great line. Those are both pretty good movies. My wife and I went back and watched them recently, they held up over time.
