No shit? You mean I gotta buy my textbooks? I couldn't believe how much books were in college. Never got the same amount back for 'em either when I sold 'em. It was like a new car, loses 1/3 the value as soon as you walked out the door.

I loved doing Nimsha's eyes in the lower left. She looks so shocked, probably more than she should.

If your smart, you can actually get more money out of your books at the end of the year. Gotta find them really cheap used though, and hope to god the issue doesn't get replaced.

I was able to get some books used, and that made a difference. But many, sadly, I had to buy new.

The final textbook insult for me was when I brought back a textbook and they offered me a whole entire nickel for it.

Yeah dude, been there. I guess in the end you have to take the loss and just be glad to get rid of the paper weight.

I started writing this in 2006, digital books were just barely making an appearance, and it was still a few years before I knew anyone with a smartphone.

My textbooks were worth so little when I graduated I just kept the lot.

Same here. My general education ones I sold right back, but my other ones I needed for multiple classes. So by the time graduation rolled around, the editions had changed and they were worthless.
