Character Description
Personality
happy go lucky and full of life, she loves to dance and howl, often inappropriately. A very positive attitude, it takes a lot to dampen her spirits. Sometimes cheeky and a tease though she means no harm, she's eternally loyal to her friends. Kindhearted and always there to comfort those in need, she can be surprisingly deep in understanding. Dedicated to any task, she'll work til she drops and tends to go above and beyond what is asked of her. Though easily distracted she doesn't abandon her friends and being extremely observant she tends to know things others don't though doesn't always let on that she does depending on how she gauges the situation. A bit of a flirt she can be anything but subtle in her advances but she's equally direct in her insults with her "sniff my ass" tag line she says as she waves her butt at the intended target's face. Having erratic sleep patterns, she often just falls asleep wherever and whenever and expects others to look out for her when she does.
Background/History
In her human life Rabs loved the snow and danced around outside whenever it appeared. She did this whenever it snowed even during strong winds. Her parents made sure to keep an eye on her while she was outside and it even looked like the wind was dancing along with her joining in her twirls as she danced. One day when sledding in the forest they hit a patch of ice and Rabs was thrown into a partially frozen river and carried under the ice. After desperately trying to break the ice they eventually recovered her limp and lifeless body and mourned for their loss. Just then a wind wolf puppy came up to them and sat with them seemingly crying over the dead child as well. The puppy licked the child's face and seemed to be trying to prize the child's mouth open carefully with its teeth. The parent were afraid the puppy was trying to eat the corpse and pulled it away but soon realized that the puppy meant no harm. Giving the child to the dog it prized the girl's jaws open and Rab made a massive gasp which inhaled the wind wolf. Then before their eyes the color returned to their child's face and their eyes showed signs of life. Overjoyed the parents embraced their child and the child soon came to life. The human parents soon realized that their child had become a Vervols and over the space of a fortnight she developed fur, wolf-like facial features, paw-like hands and feet and a wolf's tail. The village was freaked out by the child who looked weird but was otherwise normal. However at the full moon the child disappeared in the night. The parents rallied the town to go looking for her and after checking the whole village they ventured into the forest. There in a clearing they found the child dancing in the snow with wind wolves dancing around her. The town seeing no harm in it joined in and they danced until dawn when the wind wolves left. Rabs family soon came to realize a pattern as Rab would always disappear at the full moon. At first they went with her but they soon realized she was capable of protecting herself even from bears and let her go alone as it was too dangerous for her parents. Rabs later told her family that she wanted to live in the fairy world and visit her human family once a week on Sunday instead. Since she was now an adult they agreed and she's lived with Theo ever since.
Relatives/Family
Like most Vervolses she's descended from both a wolf family and a human family. Her wolf parents are in fact wind wolves belonging to Theo so they live in the fairy world unlike most wolves.
World/Setting
set in a fictional world much like medieval Europe, there are various mythological creatures around including fairies and undead as well as humans. Humans tend to live with their own kind and only interfere with fairy kind when they want something. Fairies however tend to visit the human world uninvited though most don't cause any trouble unless provoked. Undead however are little troublemakers and disliked by both sides as they are a pest to everyone. In the land of Neoursheir, humans and fairies have lived quite happily alongside each other by keeping to their own kind, however the introduction of undead to the area has caused a stir, especially as they aren't interested in keeping out of other people's business.
Body
blueish grey base color with white paws, tail tip and a white patch on the breast that extends up the neck and over the muzzle and down between the legs ending at the tail base. pink inside the ears and brown eyes.
Clothing
none. Vervolses don't wear clothing. I looked it up. So you can stop asking now.
Accessories
often carries saddlebags in her hands.
