I have always done so, but seeing your work, I realize that with different opacities and colors with slight variations between them do not have to blur, looks very nice result, will go to favs ~^,^~

Ahh, you mean leaving the brush strokes in? Yes! I learned that from SirRailGun (now CrookedTrees) and PurpleKecleon, recently. I try to imitate traditional media sometimes. Okay, here we go. BCS coloring in 4 easy steps:
1) Throw down a flat color 2) Overshade the area with lots of low opacity and small brush strokes and large sloppy brush strokes 3) In Photoshop, use the "Watercolor" filter 4) You're done.

Realism and smoothness in shading is overrated! I come from a tradition of learning to color digitally from background artists who do tons of speed painting and I'm still perfecting my own approach.
