About 10 years ago a dear friend of mine, Grey the Skunk, introduced me to a sweet animation from the 80's called "Rock & Rule". It's basically a combination of Heavy Metal, Blade Runner, H.P. Lovecraft, and Alvin and the Chipmunks. I kid you not. If you have the means, I'd check it out.
I drew Grey and his girlfriend at the time as the two main characters from the film, singing together "Oh what will the signal be For your eyes to see me?" I've been friends with Grey for years, he's a real good guy and has a lot of talent. Please check his stuff out!
It's definitely a rare gem and I'm always in awe of how many have not seen it. I try to describe it as Alvin and the Chipmunks meets Blade Runner and Heavy Metal with a bit of H.P. Lovecraft thrown in.
