I wish to be as upbeat and happy as I can possibly be. Today is a day of happenstance and I will do my best to be coherent as I was up to 7am working on this art piece...
Back in January I held a raffle to help promote being on Patreon and there were two separate winners. One of them was Budzbunny in the art above. As an unfortunate tendency and trait I can have, I tend to push things to the side and wait to work when I'm inspired.
Well last night, 8-08-16, I got the sudden urge to work on his long-overdue award, and I didn't stop until it was completely finished this morning after the sun rose. After I woke up later today I found out that 6 years ago on this day, Budz' wife lost her battle with breast cancer...
I dedicate this day to the memory of Budz' wife, C.D.W.
I am happy to say that after I gave Budz his artwork, his day was completely turned around and he was overjoyed. I've been holding back tears a lot, Budz was not there when his wife passed, and it's been difficult on him ever since. He told me that his wife appears to him in his dreams as a crow or wolf, and since her passing crows have gathered at his house.
I had realized I drew something I can't ever recall ever drawing before in my art...blowing wind and leaves and flowers. I thought perhaps it was coincidence or maybe not, but I offered to go back and draw his wife as a crow on his shoulder as well so that he could be with her in the artwork.
There are a lot of things on my heart I wish to say, but I can't get the words together. Just, know that you are loved, you are not alone. Please take care of yourselves...
With much Love,
Grrrwolf
P.S. If you wish to send him a note of encouragement, positivity, or a virtual hug, Budzbunny's FA is here:

Incredible drawing, and a bunny! The clothing, the fur, the expression, the anatomy, the hands, the leaves in the wind, everything is so well done. Keep going!!! Also, I saw a lot of people moving towards using white acrylic to bring out the highlights on their drawings. Mixed in with the eraser method you have now, might look pretty awesome <3
