From the glitter in her eyes and the size of that evil grin, I think AJ's descendant is about to realize she's bitten off a little more than she can chew. Or fight, in her case.

Reminds me of the legendary birds after you beat the Elite Four in X/Y. First encounter in the wild is a legendary bird, but it keeps running away from you before you can start the battle. Finally, when you track it down to the Sea Maiden's Den, it finally swoops down and wants to fight after it ran away for so long.

Well, she had ample warning. When your enemy begs you not to fight, and runs away at every opportunity, it's one of two situations. One, they just have no desire to fight because they're not evil, or just don't want to cause an incident. Two, they don't want to fight because they know that if they do, you're going to get your flank kicked from Ponyville to the Crystal Empire. A good reference to the second point would be The Doctor, AKA The Oncoming Storm.

I predict the fight starts then mother AJ shows up and asks what is going on and why are they fighting... just an odd feeling I'm getting. I mean Rarity could run if she hit lil AJ with a sleeping spell then booked it... but looking forward to seeing how things go either way. In a fight lil AJ is in for a butt kicking for sure... she can't handle a nightmare pony alone XD

Aww Shit. It's one of those 2 Stage battles Like Dragon Quest has! She might even have an "Icy pulse" type ability to negate all buffs. She is so clopped.
