Accurate picture for this summer 2016, well, I'm not going to the beach, and probably most of us we won't, and I don't even know how to surf (or I've never tried). But I've always thought this is an awesome view from the barrel surf.
What was the Bobby's part of the trade? An amazing story he wrote from an idea I had in mind, and it turned amazing!! Idea which I'll turn into a comic, that I'll be working at the same time I return to the Art & Biro's project. This pic was done with color pencils, which is my favorite technique ever for traditional art. The foam of water was done with white acrylic.
Awr thanks! yes, those are color pencils, it's not exactly the brand, well, not all brands for pencils can mix as good as those, but you can do that with any professional brand. The color mixes pretty well. The one I use is Prismacolor.

Hmmm, Then I must just not know what I'm doing when I color... Because I use prismacolor too...I'm just trying to get some tips on how I can try improving my art, if you don't mind that.

Have you noticed that when you color with pencils, those makes a texture? try, with another color, of preference a clearer color, to remove all traces of that texture, to make the paper look solid, then mix different colors to do shadings, try to combine all the colors, first explore what you can do with the colors, the white one is magical, is the one you'll spend more.
