Just a bit of a warm up. I've been re-watching Dragonball on Hulu (they actually have the uncut sub version!) and I forgot I sort of had a little crush on Puar a looong time ago. So, here's the result. I sort of pictured when they were trapped by Pilaf and Puar says she has to pee, maybe he has mercy and sends down some padding- and then turns out she lied and has to go poop for version 2 :P

Also before anyone brings it up, I know Akira Toriyama has mentioned he always thought of Puar as male, but all the official animation and English translations portray her as female so that's what I'm going with. I mean, they pretty much go out of their way to show every other young male's ding-dong so never seeing Puar's should be proof enough.

Edit: I'm going to change the tag to ambiguous gender since it seems to differ between languages. You can feel free to pretend Puar is whatever gender you'd like.

Strangely enough in the german version that thing seems to be more on the male side... not that you've seen that much of it, they basically went out of the picture even before Dragonball Z rolled around.

Well it makes sense considering the original intention, but I've just always seen Puar portrayed as female haha. That sorta makes me want to look up the German version to see though.

I have nothing to contribute in terms of Puar or Dragon Ball trivia...

Yeah, from the little Dragon Ball I watched when I was younger, I thought this character was cute and paddable. :) Niice.

If you have Hulu, you should really give it a second watch. The original subtitled version has a loooot of adult humor they completely left out in the English dub, and all together it's much more comedy and adventure oriented than DBZ. Plus, Puar is pretty darn cute throughout the series :P
