Perpetual Now
Five years ago I was a different man then I am now.
Five months ago I was a different man then I am now.
Five hours ago I was a different man then I am now.
Five minutes ago I was a different man then I am now
Five seconds ago I was a different man then I am now.
In the three minutes it took to write this I am no longer the man I was when I began it.
Every moment that passes I become someone new, my experiences constantly forming and reforming the man I am and the man I will become.
The only time I am truly me is in what my brain perceives as the present.
In the perpetual now I exist and always will exist.
