This thing has been sitting around in the back of my mind for a couple weeks now, so I figured I'd get it out of there so I can make room for more drawings.
Lorelei and Dietrich do, in fact, sleep together in the same bed. Why? Because frankly the only thing missing in their relationship is a pair of wedding rings.
Lorelei likes to stick her nose in the little space between Dietrich's skull and his shoulder while she sleeps. She also has one arm wrapped around his torso while the other props her head up from under her pillow. (otherwise sticking her nose in Dietrich's neck would probably make her own neck stiff)
Dietrich is all cool with that. He finds it hard to sleep without her anyway.
Now let's talk tech. The lines started out hella sloppy. I spent at least an hour smoothing them out here and there. Not sure why my hand was so wobbly the first go around, BUT I think I've cleaned it up enough to keep me from going AAA every time I look at it.
This piece also required a few adjustment layers. (I'll post a version of this bereft of said adjustment layers on my Tumblr feed ( http://baggart.tumblr.com ) so you can compare and contrast as you see fit.)
Made in a couple hours in Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64-Bit) and a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.
