Here is my little contribution to the celebration to one of Sega's underrated characters, NiGHTS. cause on this day, July 5th 1996, NiGHTS was released in Japan on the Sega Saturn and was quite a unique experience for Sega owners. This game was like if you took Sonics fast gameplay and applied it in the air on a set path. It gained critical acclaim and was the best selling on the Sega Saturn.

In recent years however, NiGHTS has been a bit silent with only a sequel made in 2008 and a few cameos in other Sega games like Sonic and Sega All-star games, and even showing up in cameos of Sonic games too. but heres hopping that NiGHTS will one day return in a new game that is a dedicated to the fans as it is to the flying Nightmarin her/himself

Oh, and incase you were wondering who that is giving NiGHTS a cupcake, its Margaret Tiger, Daniels baby sister from the PBS Kids show Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood
