In the Summertime when the Summer is High
I took you under my wings
When my girlfriend saw the pic with Ellie the other day, she wanted to see how Ellie actually throws all her hair products and equipment into a garbage disposal after what I guess could be like a intervention of sorts with her friends stating that all her spraycans and all that stuff is becoming borderline hoarding and way too expensive.

I'm like this with car parts in my shop, I hoard them even though I know I'll never use them for anything @.@

LMFAO....
I'm like this with books. When I read through any one of 'em more than once, its very difficult for me to get rid of 'em. So many memories, so many food-stains and tobacco ash marks and torn pages and creased corners and... and... yeah, I know how Ellie must be feeling right about now.

You really do such a fine job in conveying emotion through facial expressions! This piece is somber, yet strangely cute. <3

mmm...this pic reminds me a similar moment like this, but for other reasons:
It talks of 2000, in November, when there was one of the major floods in the region; my condo is not so far from the main river of the city (and of the country), the Po river. Overnight came the flood-wave, and the sewers were filled almost immediately...in the building next to my a pipe exploded, breaking through the wall of the cellars.
Needless to say that much of what we had in the cellar was destroyed; childhood memories, family possessions and even bottles of wine and oil...
when the civil protection ended to empty the cellars one by one...well, the scene was like this, and having to throw away many of my memories and childhood games left me quite shaken :(
