I was just playing a little bit drawing a random background, added some crappy characters and ended like this. Actually very nice X3
Looks sort of like a foxie, so I'm tagging as fox

i love the fox, i don't know why but it just looks really cute, and the background is great too, but it does look like one of kiffin's commissions

It has nothing to do with Kiffin commissions though.

I like settings full of plants, mixing fantasy with science fiction

I got more the feeling of "Laputa: Castle in the Sky". Only without the feeling of ancient oldness. This is how Laputa could've felt, when it was still a living city, with the robots and other machinery working in harmony with nature, and with the inhabitants... and with the giant pink flying spermies!

never heard of laputa, but i'll take your word for it

It was apparently released in the US as "Castle in the Sky". If you like animé then it's well worth looking out for. If you dislike anime, then maybe avoid, but it's one of the better ones, I feel. But then, so is any Ghibli movie.

It was a great anime although yeah, I'm going for a more futuristic technology feel. I would say I'm also going for a more alien-looking plants and animals, but my design/drawing skills aren't up to that level yet, and for now it (my world) looks kind of bland/normal.

Awr, just use your imagination!

Like, maybe, just maybe... she just gave gasping, panting birth to the flying thing above her. And the dark dots on the thing she's hugging are about to extrude tentacles, to impregnate her with a new one. That's why she's blushing, 'cos she's expecting it, and she liked it so much last time. The flying thing is also blushing, because he's got a bit of an Oedipus complex and is going to stick around to watch his mommie get impregnated with his siblings.

See? It's the CIRCLE OF LIFE! :D

[And if this isn't the post where supremekitten starts seeing my words as poops, then nothing is!]

You are doing it wrong, that's totally not the things I'm against.

If you want to reach a poop level you will need quite a bit of work.
First, it's crucial that in each discussion you will disregard everything the other person says and just continue repeating how they are wrong and you are right because you are you and they are disgusting and stupid (or something similar)
Also you need to become an orthodox conservative christian (or a different religion with similar values) with the love of government and a double-standard view which goes against any real gender equality. Amongst other things. A love for conspiracy theories and astral travels and preaching about such things may help too.
Also any pro-censorship anti-freedom preaching, those can also get on my nerves.
I'm sure I could think of some more stuff.
lol

Well, yeah - I wouldn't *really* try to post something that I thought would upset someone, to their own wall. That'd just be rude. And if I really wanted to do that, I'd post it to my OWN wall, where they couldn't delete it, instead! Mwahaha.

And you sound like a very cool person, just based on the stuff you dislike :) Not that I guess it makes a huge difference to appreciating your art: like, Roald Dahl could apparently be a total douchebag on occasion, but I still like his books. But it's always kinda nice to find that someone who does really nice work, is also nice inside.

Saw you drawing the background on the lifestream and was amazed by the detail you put into it as well as the chars, really nice work there!

I'm interested in seeing where you take that - making plant life look alien is something people have struggled with for generations. I think that glowing effect on the blue ones works really well, and is probably the best way to make really small stuff like that looks "alien". But if that's the only thing you do, some people are gonna say "you got that idea from [Avatar, Fallout3, Metroid Prime, D&D, whatever else they've played or watched with glowing plants]".

On sci-fi book covers, I've seen predatory plants used to given an alien feel, but that wouldn't fit the peaceful, thoughtful look you've got going there. Symbiotic plant-animal partnerships are cool, too, but need too much detail for a background plant. And using colours other than green for leaves is hard to do convincingly.

I'm looking forward to seeing where you take it :)
