While waiting for the amiibos I ordered to arrive, I decided to get some much needed practice on enviroment, hard shadows and stylization/simplification and get the background done in the process.

I was thinking of adding some buildings to it, to give it more of a towny feel, but I also feel it would clutter the scene too much (let's not forget that there will be characters there later on).

I still need to study this a bit but I'm thinking of putting Isabelle on the window leaning, KK slider on the wall playing his guitar, and Cyrus and Reese strolling around in the middle.

I rather like how it looks, going more for composition and atmosphere here rather than realistic perspective.
