Cats love chasing mice, but admitedly Freya is also teasing Katt.

This was fast.. no really.. see the the green hues in the background and the tree Freya is on? I had those done already as well as the line work for the girls. EVERYTHING else I did in a single night at work.

This was an atempt to cement my experiences with those two previous sketches I did as well as an exercise in having a more stylized drawing style (vis a vis, Katt's face). It was also a much needed practice with pressure sensitive pen.

Its a big change from what I usually do shading wise. Normally I shade using several multiply, add and overlay layers, and this I painted directly on the colouring layer. That said I did use the shading layers for soft lights and shadows.

On the linework I also did something similar, going for a sketchy approach instead of a neat heavy based lines.

When I mentioned on my journal about stuff I wasn't sure if it would fit the guidelines, this was actually the piece I was thinking about due to Katt.
