I guess it's more of a nicer way of saying poor. ^^;
So one thing I probably forgot to mention about Caroline is the fact that she starts off poor in my story and scrapes by as best as she can. She mostly practices her magic from whatever books she manages to find....or steals...heh. She never lets her situation keep her down and her determination helps her to strive. Tis a sassy and stubborn little gal. :)
The eye patch is a memento from her parents who were forced to leave her. The patch hides her off-colored red eye which contrasts with her blue one on the right.
