As it turns out, a certain species of pokémon has taken my attention lately: goodra. Having had the pleasure of meeting one in person, I suppose we should answer the obvious question:
Just how big can they get?
_________________________________________________________________________________
Well, this is just me finally getting around to bringing an idea to life that I've had for a while. Goodras just seem to have a nice body shape for this sort of thing, and their bellies always seemed to just be teasing me with the concept. That, and them being made of goo amused me, and I always imagined them to basically be a bunch of goo contained in a membrane of sorts. That brought certain images to mind that you'll get to see later on.
Anyhow, I can't complain about how this turned out. The background's decent enough, I suppose - I actually ended up looking at some shower interiors for ideas, not that it meant much in the end. I do wish that I could have added a tad of shine to the goodra, but I'm not sure how I would have done so in a way that would have satisfied me. Oh well, I suppose - I'm still happy with it overall. There's something about the expression in this particular part that I really like, as well.
Like always, feedback of any sort is appreciated. Makes me feel like I'm actually making stuff for people instead of throwing this stuff out into the great void that is the internet.

Well, so good so far. Something tells me that this wasn't quite what they had expected (are they nervous or enjoying it?), but there's only one thing to do: keep going!

I don't think there's much to be said here - it's just a belly and a new expression, but I'm oddly fond of it regardless. I do love blushing, for some reason, which probably adds to this. I suppose it's because I'm really into involuntary actions like that.
In that case, the usual stuff: feedback! I love it. Any sort is nice, even a simple "I like this" type comment. Reminds me that there are actual people looking at (and hopefully enjoying) these things.

Our little goodra's finally getting all nice and round... and we still have a bit to go, too!
I think they're finally beginning to feel themselves really stretching, though...

Oh, I do love how this goodra's turning out, for the most part. The belly does look all nice and round, and some water's starting to show through the goo as it's stretched thinner and thinner. There's a ways to go, and they're already becoming concerned...
I'd apologize for getting kind of into it, but c'mon, that's what it's for. I'm still happy with how this has worked out - soft shading really does do wonders. I love a progression of the character's of the expression throughout a sequence like this as they realize they're nearing their limit. All that sadistic stuff.
Well, feedback is cool, whatever it may be. I really do appreciate all that I've gotten thus far on this sequence, and I thank you for it in advance.

Oh dear, it looks like our goodra doesn't have much of any room left... they're struggling just to stay in one piece for any longer. They're sure fighting it, though...
...let's keep going, shall we?

Ah, the obligatory "on the brink of bursting" part. This is my own favourite, really - those last few instants where someone's passed the point of no return and can't do anything but grit their teeth and/or cry out as they're pushed past their limit. ...sounds kind of like an orgasm, doesn't it? That's what it is to me, really.
On that same subject, while it does make for a nice effect, especially with how the character being inflated it overwhelmed by their own sheer size, I'm always hesitant to show an inflated belly being pressed against like this. If they're supposed to be at their limit, they'd be entirely taut - no room left for leaving impressions by pressing on it. Regardless, though, the belly didn't look right if it wasn't pressed a bit against the goodra's leg, and I do like the idea of their belly starting to press against their face, muffling them a bit. Double-edged sword, I guess, but I think it worked out here.
Well, feedback is a wonderful thing. It's nice to know whether or not I achieved the effect I was going for (in this case, the usual "absolutely full" idea) so that I can know what to try to improve on. More feedback from you guys means better art :U

Oh, it did have to end somewhere... I suppose I can't complain. Maybe a goodra's belly isn't so stretchy for all that goo it's made of.
At least the cleanup will be easy in here.

Ah, the inevitable conclusion. Admittedly, I'm not terribly into actual images of characters popping, but it's obligatory, in a way, when what you like the most is the very instant before. Because of that, though, I never really know just how well I pulled it off - I can't really help but feel apathetic to how it's depicted, so long as it isn't morbid or unsettling. Speaking of which, my original idea for this part was simply to have bits of goo adorning the shower, but I eventually judged the idea a bit too unpleasant. The idea was that a goodra is really just a bunch of goo held together by a single membrane, and rupturing the membrane (i.e. bursting) would simply result in goo all over, but I decided against it.
Well, at the very least, I think I'm alright at drawing popping at this point. It could use a bit more depth in this case, I'm sure (instead of just one layer of water and a stray piece on top of it), but it's a start. I think my shading with it works out alright, and transparent things are slightly less annoying to draw now. If anything, I think I need to work on some way of adding "strength" to them bursting, something that looks more like it'll cover the walls in whatever-it-may-be, but I'm okay with this for now. I'll just have to experiment.
In any case, any and all feedback is a wonderful thing. I think the part before this is the single image I've gotten the most comments on, and I absolutely love that - thanks for all of it.
