I've been watching various videos on YouTube for nostalgia's sake, and I've noticed there are some interesting similarities between my cast and those in the classic harem. This one in particular made me think of the following.
Design wise, Gardevoir bare a resemblance to Ryoko Hakubi's outfit, and Serenity's characterization isn't that far off from Ryoko's as well when it comes to Chris. And you've got the whole ability to levitate thing... Plus they both share an "I was here first!" syndrome...
Then you've got Ayeka, who essentially matches Alicia in my series, with the names even having a slight resemblance.
Finally we've got Rose who pretty much suits Sasami and Ryo-Ohki from the series as the peacekeeper basically, and if they had a home, her role would be akin to Sasami pretty much.
And lets face it, Chris is Tenchi Masaki all the way. Unlimited power yet not much of a desire to use it unless needed, girls surrounding him yet an inability to choose one due to the pain it would inflict upon the others...
As far as the remaining Mawile... Hmm...
Hard to say, but I'm sure a comparison will arise once she arrives and is fleshed out.
...Ha ha, wow. My series resembles my favorite harem of all time. I love it.
