yeah Avian and I where dumbstruck when we saw it on /f/ and the deep discussions it developed by some in /v/ inb4 the actual "Yiff in hell furfags" spam started. What really impressed me the most was the fact that many traditional Sonic fans (non-porn fans perse) really enjoy and are looking forward to the game, calling it "a nice piece of Sonic material amidst all the crap SEGA has released in any of its recent games". Before I knew it the game reached over 1000 views in less than an hour, and spawned a fanbase on it's own.
