Yeah, like many people write him in different ways in the comics... But man, I just LOVE him when he's just this super smug insufferable prick that doesn't even know he's coming off that way because he's so used to getting his way that he never learned proper social skills. Like I still remember one Carl Barks comic where his tragic backstory was one time he tried getting a job. That was it, nothing else. And OH how I laughed.
But yeah, when I think about him I tend to think of him that way. So I'm glad the smugness comes through! That said, I can totally see any gender falling for him though. He's got style.
