April Fools!

Keeping up the tradition of drawing Lafayette for every April 1st, and why not? He is the only clown character I have! Wanting to show his outfit entirely, so if you're wondering why his scarf and sleeves are missing, don't worry, I didn't get rid of them. I just wanted to show off what he wore beneath them. The sleeves are detachable and used mainly for tricks as their lined with several pockets. The scarf... is purely aesthetic! While he doesn't often remove either, he will when he needs to be less cumbersome, you know, like while juggling and walking the tight rope!

What? You're not wondering about that at all? You say you were looking for smutty, shameless clown ass art? Huh... well, now that you mention it, I guess that NSFW tag was misleading! Well, forgive me for thinking I should warn people of the dangers of circus performances to those who aren't fully trained!

Looks quite adorable there, but the slightly muted colours give him a little bit of a creepy aura around him. It's a fantastic balance with him, no pun intended.

Also, why is the topmost juggling ball wearing a hat?

That's kind of the mute with Lafayette. You're never sure what he really is. He looks human, but little factors like how he's entirely white and it doesn't seem to be make up makes you question. Also I guess you never saw the other pictures of him. It's a little creature that tags along with him that can change shape and what not.

You're right, I haven't seen those yet, but the idea of a little shapeshifting companion sounds neat. =) I'll have to give them a look.
