This big ol tablet ain't 16x9, but my screen is. So I did some math to chop it up right. Here's how I did it. Hope this helps the math challenged ^.^

In the background is a screen cap of what I was actually using. An AHK app that calculates proportions, parented onto SAI's new canvas window. You select a ratio, type in a width or height, and it spits out the other one. But all that stuff I wrote is how it's actually done, pencil and paper style ^///^

O.O ... well ... was the only way to ''adjust'' your tablet ... hope it wasn't a chore ... but the important is that it works like a charm ^.^

Do you have the AHK available?

I can put it up on dropbox. It's built into this AHK script that also has a zoom scrubber, and a thing that will rebuild SAI's brush ini files and restart it.

I'm surprised basic functions like this aren't built in to all drawing tablets.  After all, people might be using any number of screen ratios they wish to match to.

I know, it's  kinda nutty. Even photoshop doesn't have such a feature!  I think I'll cut out the code for those ratios. Maybe make it into a little floating window that watches the two edit boxes for width and height when you type into them.  As for tabletPCs, I remember this one software called 'artdock' I think. It was made by someone using AHK. It made this little dock at the bottom of the screen that had a bunch of functions built into it's buttons that were missing on the tabletPC since it didn't have a keyboard. Don't know what ever happened with that, I think the Dev quit working on it. If I ever get a tabletPC, I might make some stuff for it.

Haha… I remember doing something like this many years ago, when I had one of those kinds of tablets. I could never draw real well on one of those, so I "upgraded" to a display tablet, allowing me to draw on the screen (more or less).

Sweet! I wish I had one of those. Maybe someday when I make enough dough ^^

I know. Wacom Cintiqs are way out of my price range so I found an alternative for about $500 (I think). The brand I got it from has a line of display tablets ranging in price from about $500 to $900. A lot better than Wacom's $800 to $2800 price range.

I know a few in that price range. Not sure about the quality though.
