! I've actually wanted to have him draw this since before I even started drawing. That being said, the girl would have been different than Pepper. It just works so much better with her~
Theme and text is actually taken from a mug that my grandfather owns. It always stuck in my mind as a child, because I understood everything about it... except for what "salaries" meant.
And it is what this world is coming to. With some people, and also very much on how they may dress and/or behave, it will be, or even now, is hard to tell the males from the females. 0.0
I don't find that all too bothersome. It only does for me, in rearguards to finding a mate. I don't much like the idea of falling for a hot chick, or one with an amazing personality, only to find that one is a dude, and not a dudette. >.<
Also, this drawing reminds me of a joke I came across a wile back.
A girl next door to a boy finds him playing with a football. She asks if she can play with the ball too.
He tells her, "No. This ball is for boys and girls can't play with it." She got upset about that and stomped in anger into her home.
The very next day the girl was out playing with her own Football her mother gave to her. The boy saw this and got out his bike to ride. The girl asked if she could try the bike some after he was done with it.
The boy told her, "No. This bike is a boy's bike, and you can't ride one." She got upset about that too and stomped in anger back into her home.
The very next day the girl was out riding her own bike, and is just like his. The boy himself got upset over this and walked over to her. She got off her bike to see what he wanted.
After the two where facing each other, he pulled down his pants enough to show her what he has as a boy, and told her, "Only boys have these and you can't have one." Once again, she got upset about that and stomped in anger into her home.
But she came back out shortly after and pulled her pants down enough for him to see what she has as a girl, and she tell him, "My mom told me that as long as I have one of these- she next points to his crotch -I can have as many of those that I want!"

I'm kind of amazed something like this ever got printed on a mug! It is an adorable little picture, though, and their expressions are simply priceless! The little bit of puppy-fat on both of them is just adorable, too. Plus I do love this sort of theme. There's just something really charming about those early first discoveries when things are driven by curiosity rather than desire. The artist captured that aspect of it perfectly.

Yeah, in hindsight it was probably a bit risque for a cartoon... Still, it made for a great idea, and Arkaid pulled it off wonderfully! Not that there was any doubt~ I definitely share the feelings on the theme, too. Especially for the younger ages, it doesn't seem typical for sexually oriented things to be all that sexual for them.
