This is another one of the earler songs I learned, and it is also the first I learned to play by heart (no sheetmusic). I have many happy memories of this piece, but perhaps the most entertaining story I have from this one, is the time I went to Rarotonga with the high school orchestra. I had taught myself to be able to walk while playing this piece, and I was a relatively small 13 year old boy with this giant accordion. Well anyway, apparently in Rarotonga this piece was known as some kind of love song, so as I wandered up and down the eisles of the school hall the orchestra was performing it playing this song, it made all the native girls all giggly. This was a long time ago now, so I am probably exaggerating or remembering it as more then it really was, but yeah, I love this song to bits.
