Ryun was offering $10 sketchy commissions, so I thought I'd grab one of Nathaniel. He and his father Ryan haven't been seen in color before this. I already commissioned a color drawing of Ryan from another artist, so he'll be seen in color soon.
Nathaniel looks a little darker than I originally envisioned, but looking at him it actually makes sense considering his parents. I like that Ryun was able to work in his mouse incisors, and I think he looks quite good with the brown hair and eyes.
Overall I really like how this turned out. It's always a bit odd when I see a character of mine drawn for the first time, or in this case in color for the first time, so it always takes some getting used to. What I envision isn't always what the artist generates, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it's always been a good thing.
