Character Sheet for Duskfang Wolfwings
Character Description
Duskfang is a winged wolf, with the ability to shape-shift and even change his physical body age. He is a spiritual user, and a skilled archmage. Loyal to his friends and family, he only uses his powers to protect everyone and everything he cares about, but never for evil. He can be either feral, in which case clothes is optional but limited, or he can be anthropomorphic, where he walks on two legs.
Personality
Duskfang is confident, laidback, and smart. He also has a friendly personality, and won't bite unless he is certain you are a danger to him or his friends and pack. He is protective and loyal to his friends, and supportive in morality and spirit. Duskfang is also a good counselor, and helps those who are suffering depression and stress as best as he can. He always try to be fair in his judgement, and thinks carefully on what he has to say before sending his thoughts out into the open. Duskfang is hard to offend; few things bother him except direct insult or threats. He's also very patient.
But don't take his kind, gentle nature as a sign of weakness, as he is very strong and powerful. Duskfang is skilled in all kinds of magic, but prefers spiritual magic drawn from his soul. He is also an experienced shape-shifter. He chose never to use his powers for evil, but to instead protect his friends and family. Duskfang take threats very seriously; you won't like it when he's angry.
Likes/Dislikes
He likes friends, and loves his family. He also enjoys soaring high among the clouds of the sky, day or night, and see the world spread out below him. It makes him happy to see kindness spread between friends and other people, and he cherish the bonds he shares with everyone else. Gadgets and technology fascinate him, as do science and nature. An avid reader, he also likes to write. Programming is a snap for him, and genetics and evolution never cease to amaze him. A very good sense of fashion appeals to him, and he always like to dress nicely when in anthro form.
Duskfang dislike offenders, and hates blackmail. If he finds out about any offense or threats to his friends and family, Duskfang will hunt the offender down mercilessly. He also loath bullies, and would never tolerate being near one within a mile of him. Crimes are especially one of the things Duskfang detest most, and criminals must be wary of his rage.
Background/History
Duskfang is different from most wolves, because of his wings, and he's one of few wolves gifted with the power of flight. His black color didn't help much, either. Having been bullied a few times in the past, Duskfang decided to try and make a difference in the world, and set upon himself a task to help other people. Soon, more and more people recognize him as a friend, and treats him with respect. Having learned basic psychology, Duskfang began to help others overcome depression and anxiety, among other things.
He learned to fly from a very young age, when he was a pup. Duskfang even aced a grown athletically fit winged wolf who was in his prime, and Duskfang was still but a pup back then. Later, he learned about his spiritual powers, and how to control them. From there, his education soon grew to encompass all kinds of magic, making him the equal of one of the most powerful archmages in the universe.
Additionally, Duskfang had discovered in himself the ability to shape-shift at will, so even should he be deprived of his magic, he can still shape-shift and use his spiritual powers. The ability to shape-shift is a rare and unique variety that also lets him do what is known as "age-shifting" and allows him to become any age he wants to be, within his actual age, of course (for example, if he's 18, he can be any age he wants up to that age to the day, but not older than he really is). Because of this, Duskfang is near-immortal, as in, he cannot really die from old age, since he can choose to stay young forever if he wish. He also has regenerative healing ability, a natural special side effect of his shape-shifting ability, and has selective immunity to certain external magical and natural effects on him, another rare ability.
Body
He has black main fur color, with white sock-like markings on his paws, grey fur at the elbows/knees, and his tail has a similar pattern configuration with white tip and grey midsection. His wings are black with white streaks along the flight feathers (bottom/rear third of the wings). He has a white nose, and mirrored on either side of his face, he has white hook-like markings starting at the lower eyelids and streaming back, curving down and forward before petering out. The insides of his ears are also white, but the outsides are black at the base and blending into grey near the tips. He has sapphire blue eyes, which gives him a particularly handsome appeal. If drawn, his claws and pads are black, his teeth white.
Clothing
When in anthro form as an adult, Duskfang likes to wear a black short-brimmed fedora hat, the kind with the front brim turned downward, with custom earholes for his ears, and a silver/white band around it. He also wears a white button-down shirt, fastened up except for the top two buttons, long sleeves rolled up past the elbows, and wears a black v-neck sweater vest over the white shirt. Fine black pants are tailored to accommodate his digitegrade legs, and a nice modern black belt with silver buckle is worn. He wears a silver-accented black wristwatch on his left wrist, and a black leather three-strand mystery-braid bracelet on his right wrist. He sometimes wear modern rectangular reading/computer glasses, and can even wear special high-tech "smart" glasses that has built-in visor/HUD screens.
As a pup in anthro form, he sometimes wear a black diaper with white tapes and bands around the waist and legs, but sometimes he prefer to go without clothing, covered in only his fur.
Of course, at any age, Duskfang loves Taekwondo, which is Korean-style martial arts, so in those instances, he wears a white do-bok (Korean martial arts uniform) and the color of his current rank, which for now is Yellow Belt. Additionally, Duskfang trained himself in the use of a bamboo staff as a weapon, but seek to learn some Kendo in order to truly master the way of using the staff.
Accessories
Sometimes Duskfang likes to carry a smart tablet with him, maybe a computer bag, or just his smartphone. He also has a satchel, to carry his personal belongings. When in martial arts, he has a bamboo staff he likes to use as his weapon of choice, besides his own paws.
