This is the primary image used on the Thank You page of my Patreon, an ongoing work in progress (esp. the reward tiers.)
Rhubarb will love you for pledging, but you can actually look at the thank you page without pledging anything -- pffft I know right? -- so I've decided I'll just post it here anyway. I was always intending to let people who got to the thank you page redistribute the image just like I'd posted it, so.
Rhubarb belongs to the race of wish dragons -- creatures with modest magical powers who've decided they feel like going around granting wishes to folks they think deserve it. The great majority of wish dragons, regardless of gender, retain the size and rough temperament of a 6-to-8-year-old girl, and they are omnivorous. As in they eat everything. Now you see food now you don't. Like magic!
In the future, I hope to establish Rhubarb, Listra, and other (more adult content-friendly) girls & boys as recurring characters in my original work. As such, my Patreon follows the joke that every single dollar donated to it goes to buying Rhubarb's lunch, and all of the reward tiers are named after a food item I perceive to be plausibly available in that price range (at least in my local area.) I need to draw many more images of her to shove all over the stupid thing though, and to make her a more persistent part of my artistic identity.
This is the first image I've actually drawn of Rhubarb, and her design is not really final. I wasn't sure how plushy-like I wanted her to look, but I think she's anthropomorphic enough to warrant adding clothes -- part of why I've made her foot a censor -- which will most likely be light and genie-themed. I'm also messing with the style of her ears and the texture of the top of her head, going for somewhere between a cat and bunny look and trying to avoid baldness. Her coloration is meant to roughly match that of an actual rhubarb, but I think the red is a bit too saturated for that.
She is absolutely beautiful (also pretty similar to me, coincidentally, but that's because a lot of these colors and design elements simply work well together).
