Two page Comic commission for @lulshi

Here we have Kayla (flareon form) getting in a pool and running into a rather urgent situation, and the fact that she's in a swim diaper means it's not going to end well. This is my first time doing a water effect, so I really hope it came out looking alright. Also featuring two of my own characters, Bluebell the Pichu and Tokala the Zorua, neither of whom I actually draw very much.

The shadowy background characters are sort of like playing "who's that pokemon?"

Edit: Added the second page! I'm so proud of that steam effect.

Oh gosh, now I can't stop thinking about her pee causing a chain reaction of even more pee cause the pool will be so warm. It's like that one southpark episode.

So the meowth, squirtle and Vaporeon I can spot, can't tell the others on feet alone unfortunately, I'm not one of those Footprint experts you meet across the land.

You got 'em right! Honestly I didn't have anything in mind for the feet on the left, maybe a persian to go with the Meowth. The ones on the right are supposed to be Peony's, so Pikachu (not that I expected anyone to guess that :P)

For the water, I would add a *very* light blur as water isn't that clear.

Otherwise, amazing! ^^

Thanks! Yeah I was considering adding a blur but I couldn't really get it to be noticeable without blocking too many details. Maybe it's just a very clean pool (for now).

Maybe you can blur a duplicate copy on a layer above and reduce the transparency slightly. That way the blur is noticeable but not as strong?

Well, yeah I couldn't really blur the layer itself because there's actually several layers and I'm using Sai. I'll probably just leave it as-is for now since I have to work on the next page, and anyway the ref I used the water look even clearer than in my pic haha. Next time I draw some water maybe I'll try out a different technique to make it look less clear though, thanks for the critique.
