Character Sheet for XD369
Character Description
An adamant and battle-worn Shadow Lucario.
Personality
Shezmu is generally quiet, and seems to have a nearly nonexistent sense of humor. He takes everything very seriously and is faithful to no one other than his trainer. Shezmu’s only goal in life seems to be becoming stronger to serve him more effectively. As such, he puts great effort into physical activity, training, and battles, and doesn’t care for much else. He has a tendency to speak very formally.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: winning battles, fruit juice, bird hunting, hiking, swimming against rivers with currents, standing under waterfalls, battling with Sandstorm, Shadow Sky, Hail or Rain Dance in effect, battling dragons
Dislikes: laziness, unhealthy food, cats, people who talk too much, being blind
Background/History
A retired trainer bred his male Zoroark and female Lucario to make Shezmu as a gift for his son to start his journey, as starter Pokemon are not given out in the Orre region. Shezmu’s trainer’s dad had already taught him much about Pokemon and training, and even demonstrated a few Lucario training techniques. Since his trainer was the first thing he saw when he hatched, Shezmu had a very strong bond with his trainer from the start and evolved quickly.
He and his trainer went on to go through almost daily training at Mt. Battle until Shezmu was strong enough to win colosseum challenges in various parts of the region, and eventually, to win a challenge at Realgam Colosseum. When he did, he was then stolen by a member of Cipher and made into a Shadow Pokemon.
The rest of the story will be told in my fanfiction, “Made, Not Born,” to avoid spoilers. See it there. There is a female Scrafty named Singme involved. They do it. It’s great.
He will first appear in Chapter 13.
Relatives/Family
Mother: Lucario
Father: Zoroark
Mate: Singme
World/Setting
Body
During his transformation, Shezmu’s DNA was not only rearranged to make him a Shadow Pokemon, but was also changed to cause a few other mutations. His father’s half of his DNA is more prominent in his skin and fur color, making him black-and-wine-colored. Also, the tip of his tail became furless and he lost his left eye entirely. His right eye is entirely sightless. As such, he completely relies on his ability to sense aura in place of vision, though he still moves his eye around as if it’s not blind, and will directly look at anyone he speaks to. His pants are tattered and torn and resemble shorts more than pants. He has six spikes instead of three. His paw pads and the insides of his ears are purple. His eyes are colorless and his pupils glow pure white. His claws—not retractable--are larger than that of most Lucario, and his fangs are longer and sharper. The “mask” design on his face and the black appendages on the back of his head are different. The transition of wine to black fur on his arms are very smooth compared to the regular transition of blue to black on most Lucario. HE IS NOT A HYBRID.
