The re-arranged attempted to make it sound allmost like the original SNES version regarding the sound set from the game. I know that it's not exactly the same. :P

Wow! Unfortunaly the soundtrack CD never got released in europe and also not in germany :( At least i got the soundtracks of Lylat Wars, Mario 64 and also Donkey Kong 64 ;) But they don't have the same pleasing retro-factor like the forever lasting 16 Bit games. One example. I bought a used copy of Axelay, mostly because of the incredible awesome Soundtrack (but also because of the game itself :P). One of my most favorite SNES soundtracks till today. Rare and Konami knew like nobody else that soundtracks were the butter on the bread of any good game.
