I'm sure a lot of you might remember the Moon Level theme of the NES game "Duck Tales". Now, here you have it remixed in a way of it of how it would have sound like if it would have been released on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis.

Duck Tales is (c) 1987 Disney & Nintendo
Re-arranged, mixed and mastered by Mike004

Thanx! :D  Well, i was playing it a lot on the NES of my father. The game had an awesome soundtrack and was so much fun! Always liked the Moon level for it's soundtrack and the transylvania level for it's mood.

Nice!  That mix actually sounds authentic to the sort of sound synthesis that the Genesis produced (from a Yamaha YM2612 FM synthesis chip).

At least to my untrained ear. :-)

Thank you so much! :D
Yeah, i kept the sound dry, without any extra effects, like reverb, to make it sound a lot more authentic. It is actually a mix of a softsynthesizer called VOPM (which emulates these Yamaha OPL2/OPL3 sounds) and a Mega Drive / Genesis Soundfont. :)
