Character Description
Rodica is a fashion model for plus-sized women and a soft-spoken activist for women's rights. She is an empowered woman who owns herself and doesn't let others tell her what she should be. As a result of mixed heritage, she has suffered some indignities from her parent communities but she takes these in stride as her father always told her to do. She loves her family, but wants them to live their own lives.
Personality
Rodica tries to keep herself sweet and nice, but can give into an explosive temper when pushed to her limits. She believes that everyone is beautiful in their own way and gets very angry, very quickly at people who insist otherwise. Not one for heavy logic or philosophy, she keeps her tastes simple when off the walkway

Background/History
Rodica grew up on the lower east side, raised by her single father with some of her siblings for most of her young life. When her mother was killed her father remarried, adding two more siblings to the mix. Rodica helped out as much as she could, but was often frustrated at her poor conditions. Luck brought her a modelling audition at the tender age of 14, when she had really begun to fill out, and her determination let her keep it as she grew. Still not wealthy by most standards, she can pay her own way now and hopes to inspire other young women to pursue their dreams.

Mother - deceased, hippo, foreign military soldier. Died in her home country during a political uprising.
Father - living, sugar glider, remarried after Rodica's mother was killed. Taxi driver, dock worker, convenience store clerk. Won't let Rodica pay his way.
Stepmother - living, kangaroo, stay at home mother (typically) and homemaker. Occasionally does hair/nails, cleans houses, and bakes cakes for extra money.

Rodica is usually wearing something fashionable. She is active in the plus-sized modelling community and is determined to show that she is just as capable as anyone. Typically she prefers bright colors that set off her eyes
