This started out as a side doodle I did while sketching the /actual/ commission piece. He decided he'd rather see this one finished than the original idea~

And one happy accident after another! I don't remember exactly how the overalls design came about. I think I tried out the ears, and you pointed out that it looked like a fox was hiding inside, and I just ran with it. XD
