You wake up in the night, and hear something creeping around downstairs. Soon you're slippered and bathrobed and down the stairs.
The lights are out, and your flashlight is a small circle in the vast darkness downstairs. The sounds are brief. A tapping here, a squeak there, a footstep behind you. But each time, your small circle fails to catch the source of the sound.
Soon, you have a large heavy object – a big shoe – in your hand, ready to hit whatever it is. You don't care anymore. This thing is supernatural in its ability to stay out of your vision. What is it?! WHAT?!
