are in trouble.

was fired from the school where he worked, essentially for whistle-blowing and hasn't been able to find another job. (He's been searching frantically.) He's been cut off unemployment because his time ran out. To keep their apartment, they're begging loans from

yaegashi

's mother; she won't keep that up for long and they're still having to use

Hippiemouse

's SSI to pay for food and all their other bills. That means

Hippiemouse

can't afford the antibiotics that were keeping his skin infection at bay. If they lose their apartment,

yaegashi

will have to move back in with his mother and

Hippiemouse

will have to move back to Michigan.

yaegashi

is running a gofundme.com campaign to get $7,000, which they'll use to live on while he writes a novel he's been sitting on for years. He hopes his novel will then help support them. Please consider donating towards their plan.
