Originally I was programming this game in flash with a large part of the code being based on what I learned in Babysitting Cream. However I started becoming disillusioned with flash as it presented more and more problems with slowdown and other issues. Since then I've been working on learning how Game Maker works, and it does work nicely for all my needs. I've gotten a visual novel engine built and it's working out nicely. I'm mainly using Game Maker as well because it has a much better save system. The number one complaint I get concerning Babysitting Cream is the lousy way Flash saves files and that the files are never permanent. That's what I'm rectifying with Game Maker.
Grose and I have made a lot of progress as well as my friends and editors. However I am in need of some more help to move the game along. I need some help with getting backgrounds and sprites colored, as well as find someone who may be interested in coming up with one original theme for the game as well. Until then I also need some testers to try the game out and give me some feedback on the interface. I just need to know if it works and if it could use some changes. Fan feedback like that always help.

confirmed, i think.. the text when you sit next to tails reads oddly... you mention the game working after a minute, and then go into a description of trying to get it working and say it took a few minutes... also some double description here, but mostly it's like it's calling strings from both the tails AND mina versions of this activity, and mixing them together in a way that ends up say the same thing twice but in two differing sentences/monologues.

I'm not sure which line of dialogue is repeated as I nose through the code and can't find anything off. I've got the dialogue organized a lot better then in BSC so it would be easier to pinpoint the line in question.

Well it's only the first day, and the way it's set up is a score is established on each decision you make. So you're only allotted one decision per day that could effect the other decisions later on. With nine more days after this one there will be a lot to explore. ^v^

playing with tails and mina: sat next to mina; she blows the cartridge, knuckles makes a comment, blush, and then the text says something about "i forgot how pu..." and runs off the screen for a word or two, coming back on the next line. (i THINK the next line started around "both were" or something like that, didn't catch it quick enough to jot it down precisely,sorry.. i'll play through again and make a note)

last but not least, tested skip feature a couple times.. works, but i find it interesting that it still displays all the text, but just rushes through it as if the user clicked like a maniac... :P anyway that's what i got so far :D

the skip feature like that is common for most text based games , mainly due to most games simaler takes a note of what you the play has viewed befor and runs past it all up to the point you have not viewed (this game does not have that but thats beyond the point) aslwell as what if the player decides they wanted to skip to a point of text fast without clicking but stop at a scene they can do that by clicking the skip button a 2nd time stoping it and playing the game normal once more . also im sure there may be other benefits in going this way =)

I am considering it, but I still need to do more tests with the KWG engine before I even attempt to take on BSC. And even if I get KWG done, I'm not sure if I'm going to rebuild BSC after everything is said and done.

Will the option of oral, vaginal (where applicable) and anal be available for all possible partners? I only know that this started as base framework similar to babysitting cream as I haven't messed with the application yet.
Does that mean a set ten days to do "whatever" with a set ending to take place, much like the seven days in BSC?

So far, it runs smoothly and I didn't find any problems exploring around. I know this is just barebones and there are no characters yet, but I found navigating the storyline easy and intuitive and it looks like it will be lots of fun once its a little fleshed up. Excellent work!!!

Flash sites have got so bad, Ive had to dedicate a quad core just to play them. Meanwhile, Second Life runs far more reliably on the old third as powerful Dual core.
Im still trying to get round to finding out if in menu or macro, common word processors can give you lists of terms and words in scripts, so that errors show up far more easily. Should also work for data bases and code. Look for instances of Increment etc.?

Yeah, the game is 10 chapters long and while sex doesn't happen in all of the chapters, based on your decisions you can find sex scenes involving all the possible characters. The thing is I've kind of broken tradition by having a couple sex scenes available at the beginning for some of the popular characters to pull the player in. Trust me, there will be a couple scenes involving Tails, Mina, and Cream down the line.

Also I chose Knuckles as the main character since he seems under-appreciated in a lot of Sonic fan works. He's one of my favorite characters and deserves a day in the spotlight, especially after working on BSC.

Nothing much more to complain, do keep an eye out for repeating dialogue boxes though. I'm surprised you managed to make an interactive story novel game out of Game Maker. I use the software due to the curriculum for Game Design and Development at college and I've always had conflicts with how the drag/drop software is set up.

So will this have any homoerotic scenes in it? Cause babysitting cream had a very small one and the reason for it not being more was something that I didn't get. So it would be really nice to have some in this one. I mean if a 3 way rape scene of cream is ok then a homoerotic scene or 2 with oral and anal should be just fine. At least in my opinion.

There´s one thing that i dont know if its done on purpose, but it´s kinda annoying that you cant stop music until you're inside the house in the beggining. I tried to disable it pressing scape key, and wopssss... the game closed. XD

I just played this, aside from the already mentioned text errors, it plays pretty smooth. I agree with enmurcia though, it would be nice to turn off the music before being in the house, but that's just me nitpicking. Good job man ;) !

I don't know if I have anything to add to what has already been noted, but here is what I've noticed: 1) A few instances of a portion of the text running off the page. 2) A few spelling mistakes (not to be a spelling Nazi) 3) Maybe a mistake on the counting of "ladies" depending on whether Cream and/or Mina is/are being included in that characterization (depending on age and/or availability)...that is to say, one could count 3, 4, or 5 ladies depending on one's interpretation. 4) I haven't noted a place to "load" a saved game...actually, I am not sure if you can save a game at the moment.
But in all honesty, it looks pretty darned good, can only imagine what the finished product will be like with 10 days.
