As you may know, I'm going to be performing in a music festival in two weeks. However, most of the trip is coming out of my own pocket, and gas is NOT cheap, so I'm opening up for four commissions!
The slots are first come, first serve, though I may pick certain commissions I like over others. The commissions will be completed after the music festival to allow me to have time to practice and do a good show, but we can begin talking about the commissions in depth as soon as it's accepted.
Why would you need to commission music? Well, if you've ever wanted a theme song, or wanted to hear your favorite song done by the chipmunks, or even if you have lyrics you want put to music, these are all good reasons to commission me :D
I do all kinds of genres, so even if you're looking for something obscure, it's worth a try!
My commissions start at a base price of $50, which includes:
2 minutes of original recorded music basic instrumentation quality mix and master license to use the song in non-commercial interests (I'm a BMI musician)
price may vary based on things such as: lyrics vocals chipmunk effect guest musicians extra/less length complexity of composition
Cover commissions start at $30.

Hey, Lando said you were taking commissions and since I liked your "The Logical Song" and "Get To You" covers, I was thinking about taking up one of your slots, but I just wanna make sure of one thing first.. Can you do these type of vocals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFRC6r-BBag ? I don't know how the chipmunk effect affects your voice, so the screams might or might not have to be perfect depending on that. I just want it to sound good.

I mean, I could probably scream that, though it'd be very hard considering I have to do it twice as slow as the singers in your song. If you want screaming, it will likely cost a bit extra, but I can do it. Yours would probably be the last to get done, as well, since I might have to sing on other commissions. Even taking precautions, screaming can wear out your voice, and I'll likely be doing several takes. But, again, it can be done!
