Me being me I'm super curious as to what that means and how you're stuck inbetween. xD I understand it though. You like someone enough that you don't want to date or consider yourself taken just in-case the person you're interested in asks you or shows interest or you feel you can have a relationship with them. While you're not particularly interested in anyone else at the moment save for the one person you're still single and not really looking, but just sorta hoping one person turns out to be who they seem to be and if things work out. =P
Also, I miss talking to you. I'm annoyed that people can't give you a damn break online. >_O

A certain person and I have been friends since early school years and yes, also went a little 'further' during puberty ^^ Then one day in both our early twenties, we decided to 'make it official' and became a couple. It worked out fine and we moved together a few months later. That was the mistake. Thinking back, I guess the apartment was simply too small as all the rooms were to be shared and none of us had their little refugium. In short, we were getting on eachother's nerves. So we broke up, but still remained friends, no big drama as we both knew it was better for both of us.
And, well, after a pause of almost two years, we started getting closer again, but this time decided to take it slowly. So rather spending weekends at eachother's places than moving together already, and if we will do that again, as things look now, we'd take a bigger apartment with two bedrooms and ideally two bathrooms as well. I guess we'd be sharing a bed in one or the other's room 99% of the nights, but we both are the type of person at least needing the possibility to be alone - which is simply impossible if every room is to be shared in it's 'function'.
And, well, yes, I'm really stuck inbetween *^.^*

Many women would have broken up and dropped that person completely off their list of options. Hell, I tend to be the nice guy friend that's never considered or just a fantasy for some. -shrugs- You can't force relationsips or people to love you so it's understandable, but I hate that I'm often passed up for Mr. Wild child that drinks and parties too much, is probably abusive, and more concerned about sex then a long term relationship/family.
I'm sick of being single, but I'll stay that way if I'm expected to change who I am and how I am to be with someone. Some things are not up for compromise in very few and certain things.
