Probably payments. I think they take a significant chunk out either way, but I think it's more if you take it all at once. Plus there are further complications with trying to put too much into the bank at once. I don't know how they might apply to something like the lottery, where it's clear where the money's coming from. But I don't trust them not to find every way they can to take as much money from you as they can.

I'd go with the lump sum, because that way the ones paying it out can't simply go out of business at some point down the line and simply stop paying out long before they've reached the agreed upon amount. I don't trust anybody when it comes to large sums of money that's being promised.

I guess that depends on if you just mean the same species, or the same people. If if's the latter, probably run like hell. Given the utter hell I've put some of my characters through, I think they'd have every reason to want my head on a platter. If it's just the same species, though, well having a drink in a bar with some pretty fox and rabbit people would be pretty awesome.

I would think people, however they shouldn't know who you are. Basically had a friend do a setting in the current arc of our story that has a bar that is always in the world regardless of which version of the world it is, and its a point where those multiverses meet, a constant and familiar haven for those who often get bumped from world to world. So just posed it as an intriguing what if.

Ah, I gotcha, I think. My characters don't do much world-hopping. They've got more than enough trouble to deal with at home. But there are certainly those who would find such a thing interesting, and one or two who would enjoy the idea of hanging out in a bar that might serve drinks they couldn't get in their native land. My swift fox soldier Deirdre would be particularly interested in the drinks, while my bartender vixen Cassandra would probably be more interested in taking notes on how the place was run. Deirdre's daughter Ciara would probably tag along to try to keep her mother out of too much trouble, and for the sake of meeting new people and seeing new places. She's always been interested in seeing more of the world outside of her native island. Meanwhile, Cassandra's girlfriend Stephanie would come along to keep her girl company, and to make sure nobody molests the poor girl. She might be a tad overprotective. Plenty of others would be interested as well, but we could be here all year if I tried to list everyone.
As for whether they would know me, well Ciara and Deirdre would know my avatar character Megan, since Ciara is married to her cousin Niamh and a great many of my characters are part of the same family. As far as the real me goes, though, well reactions would likely range from apathy to curiosity. Humans don't exist in their native world, and so far as their science has determined, all primate species went extinct millennia ago. But they're pretty kind an accepting people, and they live in a land full of magic and stranger things, so I doubt they'd be too upset.
Rambling aside, though, that is a really neat idea, and I apologize for misunderstanding the question earlier. And for rambling on for hours!
