=Patreon Update= Charges are Upfront Now

I've been getting a lot of fraud/declined accounts/users and figured I'd set it to upfront payment to try and deter that. If you were considering joining I'd say wait till the beginning of next month, unless you want to be charged basically twice.

I hope this will help narrow down the list of users who are really there to support me haha

Probably a good idea. The "You have full access until the end of the month when you actually have to pay" system was pretty open to abuse. I'm just glad Patreon has the option to do it the sensible way around instead now.

Haha, yeah, I didn't think I'd ever really have a use for it but I think it'll work out better in the end. Now I can at least properly account for who's doing what :P

Honestly something most artists on Patreon should do from the start, even when they aren't paywalling anything just because it makes the final numbers more clear cut and deters people giving false encouragement just because they think they'll be getting special treatment.

I dunno why I didn't do it sooner, I guess I never saw it as a priority or anything. That and since I wasn't using it to hide away anything (except .psd files basically) I never figured there'd be a reason to join and leave or anything, you know? Then it started happening and it just sorta bummed me out, really. Though it felt good when I contacted a few people who had joined when a bunch of fraud/banned people were joining and they were sincerely there for the art and supporting me.
