A gentle whip of cold night air wove its way through the grove of dead trees that littered the grounds of the forest, nipping at the covered skin of the boy in the dark green cowl. The hood was fastened over his deep set green eyes and fluttered lightly, his only protection against the elements, completely naked under it.. His shadow flickered behind him due to the harsh flames that danced around at his feet, his eyes locked on them as they rose and dropped, sending sparks around him. Finally, his eyes shut, his body giving a light sway before finally falling backwards and into the dry earth below, gravel settling away from him due to the force of the drop. After the last few days he had, it was no surprise, even the last bits of his energy was used on making the fire so he wouldn't pass away in the night due to the cold winter air. His dream was simple, all he did was walk in the lush green forest around him, or at least, it used to be green and fertile, but now it was a wasteland. To believe, it barely took an hour to turn the lands around him from a rich, prosperous land into such a deserted heap. As his dream continued, the images of the past nights recollected in his mind. The dim dark shy hanging dreadfully above her was replaced by the mixtures of violet and orange from the morning song, clouds streaking the near perfect sunrise. Her hands rested on the rail as she peered over the edge and stared at the lakes waters below. That's right, I have been using her and she. Our hero was not such before. Earlier, he was Lian, a fox girl with a large tail, tall ears, and sharp blue eyes. All of her fur was a powerful silver tipped with white on the tail and her belly, as well as her plump chest. Now, you may be wondering how in such little time one girl can change so much. Well, don't worry, you'll find out later, yet ironically, it all started with a single knock, a single beat on the door, that caused her to walk a path she never expected. "What is it?" Lian asked, one hand leaving the rail as her body twisted slightly, her head continuing the movement as she looked back to the door of her room. A nekomimi stood in the doorway, wearing a cute french maid outfit that complimented her figure, her skin dark gray except for her ears and tail, "The judge will see you now, please prepare yourself." she would say, before turning and walking out. Her duty was done, and it was all she needed to do. The maid shut the door as she left, leaving Lian to sigh contently to herself, it was finally time.
(As you can guess, this is only a sneak peek for the story I have planned.
