computer is up and running. its not fully fixed so i got to be careful but i can draw.

yeah saw your journal abouth it :o I know how you feel my piece of shit laptop has windows 8.1 what makes him more shit then it all ready is XD X3

overheating it seems. i really cleaned out my desktop and it seems to be working, my GPU temp is floating around 65.C i hope thats good

That's a start. I'd ask to see if you oiled the fan or cleaned that out too along with checking to see if it runs properly?

My (oldish) laptop started powering off every 20 minutes the other week. I 'repaired' it by putting it on a box so the airflow in and out are free of the table top. (I use an external display and keyboard/mouse, so stability is not an issue). Cheapest fix ever :)

Also changed it from constantly sounding like a jumbojet during takeoff to a nice soothing hum :)

Huzzah! Glad to hear that things are going well then, though I'd be very careful since it does seem to be overheating. Had to toss out my mother's old laptop after it's fan broke; it overheated enough to damage the battery, the motherboard, and burnt out the plug.
