Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

What a wonderfully enjoyable game! I'm really pleased I picked this up at midnight yesterday~

Delicious

and I were playing it until about 6am, and laughed so hard it hurt.

If anyone else has it (and i figure out how the friend code thing works), I'll have to try some of the online features with you guys. Granted, I haven't played a Mario Kart game since Mario Kart 64,so I'm still pretty noobish.

Heh heh... I waited until midnight at a 24-hour Walmart for it. Didn't want to hit another Nintendo shortage.

Yeah, the portable part makes a big difference. Plus, you can play with a single Joycon - it's not the most ideal setup, but makes for easy multiplayer.

Squidlings are playable characters, too, which makes me happy~

I bought it for the wii. I might buy it for the switch, but only if there is friends to play online.

I've been really surprised how stable the online matches are. Ran great while tethered to my phone at work (without the beat coverage either). I can't compare it to other Mario Karts, but my last experience with Nintendo wifi was the abysmal quality of Smash Bros on the Wii.
